We’re excited to announce that we will be having a variety of cheeses that will be provided by Chulita Hill Farm and Creamery! Merci Nicklas and her husband Tracy have been raising La Mancha goats for milk and for making cheeses.
Merci is a chef and owner of Merci’s World Cuisine Catering. You can catch her at our local farmers markets from 8-12 p.m. Her husband, Tracy, is a carpenter and owner of Tracy’s Custom Carpentry. Together with the love of their professions, and their shared love of animals, and being closer to the earth, they are working toward a sustainable farm. They own 16 goats, 2 donkeys, 1 little horse, 1 cat, 2 dogs and a year-round garden. Right now, they are offering farm shares so you can experience the wonderful things they make. They are working on becoming a USDA Grade A Certified Dairy
Their farm is located outside of Nacogdoches off of Hwy, 21 east. They host events, give classes and will soon be participating in an agritourism program, offering unique Air B&B experiences. Follow them on Facebook!
