Friends of the Visual Arts
This organization was established by SFA in April of 1995 to help support and aid in scholarships for the youth wanting to learn art. From humble beginnings to 26 years later, this organization has given out countless scholarships and has transformed many people’s lives by supporting their dreams in becoming artists of the future.

SFA Music Preparatory School
The school of music preparatory mission is to provide an accessible and inclusive community center for music education that fosters the creative growth of individuals, inspires passion and creativity, and promotes excellences and well-being in Nacogodches.
Approximately 250 children are involved in the program today per semester. They offer private lessons in piano, flute, saxophone, voice, Suzuki violin, viola, cello, guitar and choir.
