Weelynd McMullan Art

First Place Winner of SFA Art Alliance 2021 Spring Show
“Bartholomew” by Weelynd McMullan

Drawing portraits to characters, Weelynd McMullan specializes in mixed media forms of art. He has had a long standing tenure working in a professional capacity through the Cole Art Center as an exhibits installer (preparator) and also for The Museum of East Texas in Lufkin. Nacogdoches is fortunate to have his creativity and talent as he continues his studies as an MFA student at Stephen F. Austin State University.

His work often allegorically references important figures from Greek Mythology to the Bible. Drawing from influences like Basquiat, Weelynd is able to bring a whimsical and modern way of illustrating historical figures that have shaped humankind and society over periods of centuries.
